Mariana Santiago joined IGNIA in 2026 as Controller, where she oversees the administrative, financial, and regulatory processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and the quality of financial information for decision making. Additionally, she is responsible for the GP’s monthly financial results, preparing the annual budget, managing capital calls, and overseeing fund operating transactions. Mariana holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master's in Finance from EGADE Business School. Prior to joining IGNIA, she spent six years at a cross-border software development company headquartered in Austin, Texas, with operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, where she led the finance function for the last four years, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
